AI in the loop, judgement at the end
We use AI tooling throughout - design review, code review, and the tedious work
in between. It lets a small team cover ground that used to need a large one.
What it does not do is decide: every change is reviewed by a person before it
reaches a customer, and the accountability stays with us.
Scheduled releases, checked automatically
Changes ship on release trains at fixed times, not whenever someone remembers.
After every deploy the system checks itself against the version it just
published, and a release that does not answer correctly stops rather than
reaching customers.
Every product stands alone
Each product has its own database, its own hosting and its own release
pipeline. A problem in one cannot become a problem in another, and a customer's
data lives where it belongs rather than in a shared pool.
Local, and built for POPIA
South African payment providers and South African hosting, with the handling of
people's information designed in rather than bolted on. This site itself loads
nothing from a third party - no trackers, no external fonts, no analytics.
